About Me

THE DETAILS

I’m an award-winning commercial Creative Director, Producer, and Cinematographer with over fifteen years of experience shaping commercial, film, and branded content. I focus on combining creative vision with practical direction, leading teams from concept to delivery and building visual stories that connect with audiences and elevate brands.

My work spans feature films like MobKing and Agoraphobia, collaborations with major athletes and musicians, and commercial campaigns for brands including Snickers, Macy’s, Coca-Cola, Colgate, Chevrolet, Audemars Piguet, Johnson & Johnson, Kraft, and Party City—many of which have aired nationally. These projects have earned two Telly Awards and two Best Cinematography honors.

I value clarity, trust, and teamwork, and I bring a leadership style rooted in communication, preparation, and respect for the creative process. My goal is simple: create work that inspires, performs, and raises the standard for modern visual storytelling.

Real beginnings

“If you care, you’ll find a way.”

A teacher said that to me growing up and it stuck. It shaped how I approach life, work, and creativity. I’ve always been curious, always breaking things down to understand how they work. That curiosity eventually led me to a camera, and the camera led me to everything else.

I started with VHS tapes and backyard comedy skits, moved into shooting my high school news broadcast, and eventually built a career directing and producing commercial work for brands and talent I grew up watching on TV. That journey taught me something important: creativity isn’t just about visuals. It’s about people. Leadership is understanding where someone is now so you can help them get where they want to go.

In the world of commercial storytelling, I’ve learned that brand is not what you say — it’s how you make people feel. Whether I’m working with a Fortune 500 company, a startup, or a local business with a big dream, I approach every project with the same intention: understand the story, understand the audience, and create something honest enough to connect.

why I do
What I do

Storytelling, film, editing, leadership, strategy — these aren’t separate to me.

They’re one craft.

The work has never felt like “work” because it combines all the things I love: technology, people, problem-solving, creativity, and making something out of nothing.

And honestly? I’m happiest when collaborating.

I love helping shape narratives through visual direction, clear communication, and a process that makes teams feel supported. You don’t need all the answers at the start. You just need the willingness to care enough to find them.

How i lead

I believe in being clear, honest, and supportive. I care about people, and I care about the work — in that order.

Here is how I show up for my team:

  • I empower people to do their best work without micromanaging.
  • I believe feedback goes both ways — everyone grows.
  • I push for excellence without pushing people past their limits.
  • I’m direct, but never disrespectful.
  • I value purpose, process, and communication.
  • I protect my team, and I give credit freely.
  • I challenge ideas to improve outcomes, not to win arguments.
  • I focus on solutions instead of excuses.

I’m a mentor when needed, a collaborator when possible, and a leader when required.

balance & philosophy

Burnout teaches you what pacing never did.
I know the cost of overworking, and I don’t want that for anyone on my team. When we work together, I aim for clarity, realistic expectations, and healthy boundaries. Creativity thrives when people do.

Less, but better.
Purpose first, process next, aesthetics last — because when the first two are right, the third takes care of itself.

I value openness. Ask questions, challenge ideas, speak up, collaborate early, and be transparent. We build better when we build together.
